Subject: Announcing the Women's Crew Boat Fund!
Dear Friend of Wisconsin Women's Rowing:
We are pleased to announce the establishment of the Women's Crew Boat Fund, a general boat fund intended to facilitate the purchase of a new women's racing eight approximately every five years.
An extremely generous Anonymous Donor has given a founding pledge of $20,000, which is a wonderful first step toward the minimum of $125,000 needed before the interest earned can be used to purchase a new shell.
Support at all levels is important. Pledges can be made in one lump sum or spread out over a few years. Donors will be recognized on the wiscorowing.org website and at the dedication ceremony of each boat purchased.
Gifts can be made online at www.uwfoundation.wisc.edu, by check, by credit card or via gifts of stock. Or, a pledge document is available if you'd prefer to mail your gift to the UW Foundation. Any questions regarding donations can be directed to Trent Jackson at the UW Foundation at (608)262-7225.
